On 10/01/2020 at 2:15am, the LBPD took Adam Eugene HESS, age 32, of Leola into custody due to an active warrant for his arrest.  Officers had stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on North New Street and subsequently discovered that HESS, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was wanted by the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.  HESS was arrested transported to the Sheriff's Office where his custody was transferred for further legal process.

HESS is presumed innocent.
