Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the LBPD has continually engaged in situational awareness of emergent and current conditions. Additionally, the LBPD has followed daily informational releases from key advisory groups such as the CDC, PADOH, Pa.Gov, FEMA and PEMA among others. Internal incident-based reporting and responses along with daily operational efforts were adjusted to mitigate risk and exposure to LBPD officers and staff as well as community members.
The LBPD is appreciative of the unique challenges faced by our agency and the community. We remain fully committed to all efforts which ensure we continue to deliver efficient, safe and contemporary police services to all those who live, work and visit Lititz Borough. We understand the need for flexibility in our plans and delivery of services. We want everyone to have confidence in the LBPD plans and abilities to respond to the health and safety of Lititz Borough.
