The LBPD would like to congratulate Sgt. Detz on his recent recertification as a Trainer for Armament Systems and Procedures (ASP)

These trainers descended on Las Vegas for 5 days of intensive training. The group contained trainer from all over the world. The majority arrived through their own financing, including Sgt. Detz. They do this out of passion to train police officers. They do this with Gil Hasen's words in mind ..."let no officer be injured or killed because of something I failed to teach them."

The 2022 ASP Training Certification course included trainers and trainer candidates from the following countries;

Canada

Spain

France

Germany

Belgium

Finland

Italy

Switzerland

Tahiti

Australia

New Zealand

Greece

Ireland

England

While most did not speak the same language they were able to communicate for their shared goal.
