As we ring in 2020, the LBPD wants to address fireworks use and the misguided celebratory tradition of discharging firearms.

Even though consumer-grade fireworks are legal in PA under some circumstances, Lititz Borough ordinance prohibits the discharge of all fireworks except for sparklers.  There is no exception for special holidays, to include New Year's Eve.

Lititz Borough ordinance also prohibits the discharge of all weapons within the Borough.

Remember, what goes up, must come down.
