LBPD Recognizes National Police Week
LITITZ BOROUGH - In 1963, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that day falls as Police Week. National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.
In 2022, National Police Week is May 15th through May 21st.
