LBPD Officer Tyler Weinoldt Recognized as Outstanding Police Officer of the Year!

LITITZ BOROUGH - Officer Tyler Weinoldt was recognized as the "Outstanding Police Officer of the Year for 2021" by the Lancaster County Chiefs of Police Association. The recognition was presented by Senator Ryan Aument on May 15th at the Peace Officers Memorial Service for Officer Weinoldt's role as a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE), and his performance in assisting many Lancaster County law enforcement agencies with the complexities of drug-impaired driving investigations; maximizing his knowledge, skills and abilities to make Lancaster County roadways safer from the dangers of drug-impaired drivers. 

To be recognized as the outstanding Officer among approximately 600 peer officers is an accomplishment the LBPD is proud of. Congratulations, Officer Weinoldt!
