FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The LBPD K9 Team, consisting of Officer Cameron A. Burke and K9 Nicha (knee-kuh), have completed their first week of their training at Von Liche Kennels in Denver, Indiana.  The training course is a total of six weeks, and upon completion, the team will return to Lititz to start their duties, which will occur around mid-December.

Nicha is a female Belgian Malinois from the Netherlands.

Both Officer Burke and Nicha are looking forward to returning home to Lititz so the community can meet Nicha.
