LITITZ BOROUGH - Thank you, Scott and Holly! Scott and Holly are local residents who generously donated a bullet resistant vest to be worn by K9 Nicha while she works. Today, Scott and Holly came to the LBPD and were able to meet Nicha.
“Nicha is an officer just like all of her human partners, and she faces the same dangers as other officers do. This vest will provide her with an extra layer of protection,” says K9 handler Officer Cameron Burke.
The LBPD K9 unit, which began working in December of 2019, is funded through the generous donations of local residents, businesses and civic groups who support the program. The LBPD is very appreciative of the continued support of the Lititz Community!
