Lititz Borough and the LBPD would like to remind residents about the various laws and ordinances governing signs and specifically yard sale signs in the Borough.
Signs are not permitted on public property or in the public right-of-way without prior approval. For most Borough residents the public right-of-way includes the sidewalk and any area from the sidewalk to the street. This would also include any utility poles, traffic signs and Borough light fixtures.
