LITITZ BOROUGH - Tree work scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 on East Second Avenue will result in roadway closures and a planned power outage. Tree work is scheduled to being at approximately 8:30 am. It is anticipated that power will be restored to the affected customers by 2:00 pm.  A rain date has been scheduled for Thursday, October 20, 2022. The affected customers have been notified via door postings

Roadway closure: East Second Avenue will be closed between Linden Street and South Cedar Street. Please plan your route ahead of time considering this closure, allow extra travel time and use caution in the area.

Power outage: To remove the tree, PPL will need to de-energize the overhead utility line, resulting in a power outage for 37 customers.
