LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 09/01/2022 around 6:21 PM in the 300 Block of South Broad Street (SR0501). A vehicle driven by an adult male left the lane of travel and struck a tree which was located adjacent to the roadway. The driver and six passengers were all transported by ambulance for hospital-based care for non-life-threatening injuries. A summary traffic citation was filed against the driver alleging they committed a violation of the PA Vehicle Code, section titled Roadways Laned for Traffic. The driver has been summoned to respond to District Court.
