LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 05/10/2024 at 1:16 pm on North Water Street at its intersection with East New Street. The driver of a vehicle traveling westbound on East New Street, after stopping at the stop sign, entered the intersection before determining that it could be done with safety. This resulted in a collision. A summary traffic citation has been filed against the driver of the vehicle that entered the intersection before determining that it could be done with safety. The driver of the vehicle that entered the intersection was transported by emergency medical personnel for non-life-threatening injuries sustained as a result of the crash.
