FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 12/07/2019 at 3:57 PM on Kissel Hill Road at its intersection with Swarthmore Drive.

A vehicle driven by Christina GROFF (age 25), of Ephrata, entered the intersection and was struck by a vehicle driven by Stephany A. SCHULZ (age 46), of Mount Wolf.  This also caused GROFF's vehicle to strike a vehicle driven by Daniel NAFZIGER (age 79), of Lititz.  GROFF was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries sustained in the crash.  GROFF's vehicle required towing from the scene.  A summary traffic citation was filed against GROFF, alleging a violation of the PA Vehicle Code section titled Vehicles Entering or Crossing Roadway.  GROFF has been summoned to respond to District Court.

GROFF is presumed innocent.
