FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 09/24/2019 at 8:32 AM at the intersection of North Broad Street (SR0501) at East Market Street.

A vehicle driven by Ribka G. GERBRESELASSIE (age 31) of Ephrata, struck a legally parked (unoccupied) vehicle, which resulted in that parked vehicle being pushed into another legally parked (unoccupied) vehicle.  No injuries were reported but GERBRESELASSIE's required towing.  A summary traffic citation was filed against GERBRESELASSIE alleging a violation of the PA Vehicle Code, section Roadways Laned for Traffic.  GERBRESELASSIE has been summoned to respond to District Court.

GERBRESELASSIE is presumed innocent.
