The LBPD is sharing information from the office of PA Office of Intergovernmental Affairs - Office of the Governor related to the masking order which became effective on 04/19/2020 at 8:00 PM. 

The order was issued by the Secretary of the Department of Health which requires business that maintain in-person operations to implement enhanced cleaning and health safety procedures.  In part, the order requires that employers are mandated to provide masks to their employees to wear during their time at the business.  Additionally, all customers are required to wear masks and if not in compliance will be denied entry to the business.

The overall goal of the LBPD's efforts will remain designed to gain compliance through education and understanding, rather than through initiation of legal action.  LBPD members will use commonsense and logical reasoning to aid in the decision-making process.
