LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 03/06/2023 around 3:14 pm in the 000 Block of North Broad Street (SR0501).
A vehicle exiting the Lititz Springs Park, driven by a 17 year-old-juvenile, made a left turn out of the park and onto North Broad Street, not yielding to the right-of-way of two pedestrians who were crossing North Broad Street inside a marked crosswalk. One of the pedestrians sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was evaluated by EMS on-scene, but was not transported to the hospital. A summary traffic citation will be filed against the 17 year-old juvenile driver for failure to yield to the pedestrians.
