LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 01/25/2022 around 6:16 PM at the intersection of South Broad Street (SR0501) & East Second Avenue.

A vehicle driven by Cole R. HOOVER, age 27, of Ephrata, failed to stop for a red traffic signal before entering into the intersection, striking a vehicle driven by Jeffrey J. CHERIAN, age 37, of Lititz. No injuries were reported, but HOOVER's vehicle required towing from the scene. A summary traffic citation has been filed against HOOVER, alleging he committed the offense of Traffic-Control Signals. HOOVER has been summoned to respond to District Court.

HOOVER is presumed innocent.
