LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 09/02/2021 at 8:07 AM in the 600 Block of South Broad Street (SR0501).

A vehicle driven by Larry C. HESS, age 74, of Lititz, struck the rear of the vehicle ahead of him, which had stopped for a line of traffic, driven by Edgar G. SENSENIG, age 71, of Lititz. HESS was transported to a local hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. A summary traffic citation has been filed against HESS, alleging he violation the PA Vehicle Code, section Following Too Closely. HESS has been summoned to respond to District Court.

HESS is presumed innocent.
