LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 06/17/2022 around 12:24 PM in the 400 Block of North Water Street.
A vehicle driven by Walter N. HERNANDEZ, age 38, of Silver Spring, MD, backed onto North Water Street from a private driveway. HERNANDEZ's vehicle was struck by another vehicle traveling on North Water Street, driven by Linda E. LACKEY, age 75, of Lititz. No injuries were reported by LACKEY's vehicle required towing. A summary traffic citation was filed against HERNANDEZ, alleging he violated the PA Vehicle Code, section titled Vehicle Entering or Crossing Roadway. HERNANDEZ has been summoned to respond to District Court.
HERNANDEZ is presumed innocent.
