LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 02/26/2022 around 1:51 PM at the intersection of North Broad Street (SR0501) & E/W Lincoln Avenue.

A vehicle driven by Andrew J. HOOVER, age 18, of Lititz, struck the rear of the vehicle ahead of him, driven by Robert R. FEHNEL, age 66, of Easton. No injuries were reported, but HOOVER's vehicle required towing. A summary traffic citation was filed against HOOVER, alleging he violated the PA Vehicle Code, section titled "Following Too Closely." HOOVER has been summoned to respond to District Court.

HOOVER is presumed innocent.
