LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 08/03/2022 around 12:38 PM at the intersection of East Main Street (SR0772) and South Oak Street.
A vehicle driven by Kathy L. RIEGELMAN, age 54, of Racine, WI, failed to stop for the red traffic light and struck a vehicle driven by John T. KNECHT, age 23, of Lititz. KNECHT was transported by ambulance for hospital-based care for non-life-threatening injuries. A summary traffic citation was filed against RIEGELMAN, alleging she committed a violation of the PA Vehicle Code, section titled Traffic-Control Signals. RIEGELMAN has been summoned to respond to District Court.
RIEGELMAN is presumed innocent.
