LITITZ BOROUGH - On 11/05/2020 around 5:32 PM, LBPD patrol officers responded to a home in the 700 Block of Laurel Avenue after a car crashed into a house.  The owner of the home was inside his car in his driveway and accidently pressed the accelerator instead of the brake.  This caused the car to crash through the garage door and the rear wall of the garage.  the vehicle rested in the back yard of the home.  The driver was uninjured but there was substantial structural damage to the home.  The Lititz Fire Company responded to make the garage structurally safe.
