LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 12/16/2020 at 12:34 PM at the intersection of South Broad Street (SR0501) & E/W Sixth Street.

A vehicle driven by Robert M. NESS, age 47, of Lititz, entered into the intersection at a time when a tractor-trailer driven by Lawrence B. WILLIAMS, age 48, of Brooklyn, NY had the right-of-way.  NESS' vehicle struck WILLIAMS' tractor-trailer.  NESS was transported by ambulance to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries sustained in the crash.  A summary traffic citation has been filed against NESS, alleging he committed the offense of Careless Driving.

NESS is presumed innocent.
