LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 12/10/2020 at 1:02 PM in the 700 Block of South Broad Street (SR0501).

A vehicle driven by Kasie R. SHEAFFER, age 22, of Lititz, entered the roadway from a business, without yielding to the right-of-way of a north-bound vehicle in the center turn lane, driven by William M. HOLDER, age 64, of Marietta.  SHEAFFER was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.  A summary traffic citation has been filed against SHEAFFER, alleging a violation of the PA Vehicle Code, section Vehicles Entering or Crossing Roadway.  SHEAFFER has been summoned to respond to District Court.

SHEAFFER is presumed innocent.
