DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 8-9-21 Michelle Ruhl (37) of Mountville was charged with 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and 2 summary traffic violations, stemming from a one vehicle crash in the 2400 block of Columbia Ave on 8-7-21.
TERRORISTIC THREATS: On 8-10-21 police responded to the 2500 block of Standardbred Dr for a disturbance. Following investigation, Simon Kim (27) of Philadelphia was charged with Terroristic Threats (M1) and Criminal Mischief (S).
RETAIL THEFT: On 8-10-21 police responded to Stauffer’s of Kissel Hill Supermarket for a retail theft report. On 8-6-21 a male was captured on video surveillance walking out of the store with a lobster tail, Texas rib chops and a bouquet of flowers without making payment. Total estimated value of loss $110.00.
STRANGULATION: On 8-12-21 police responded to the 3100 block of Dale Dr for an assault that just occurred. Following investigation, Jonathan Olavarria (31) of Lancaster was charged with Strangulation (F2) and Simple Assault (M2), taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.
SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 8-12-21 Kevin Stauffer (32) of Lancaster was charged with Simple Assault-Domestic Violence (M2), stemming from an incident 8-4-21 in the 700 block of Hillaire Rd.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 8-13-21 police received a theft from vehicle report in the 900 block of Church St. Sometime between 1000-1546 hrs this same date, actor(s) removed a purse from an unlocked vehicle. Total estimated value of loss $85.00.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 8-14-21 police conducted a traffic stop on Columbia Ave in the area of Rohrerstown Rd. Following investigation, Bryan Nelson (24) of Millersville was charged with 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and several summary traffic violations.
WARRANT SERVICE: On 8-14-21 police responded to the 200 block of Elizabeth St for a disturbance. Following investigation, a 17-year-old female of Lancaster was found to have a warrant through Berks County Juvenile Probation. The juvenile was taken into custody and turned over to a Berks County Juvenile Probation Officer.
CURFEW VIOLATION: On 8-15-21 at 0045 hrs, police responded to Turkey Hill, 1503 Columbia Ave for a burglar alarm at the exit/entry door. Following investigation, the alarm was found to be accidental, but two 17-year-old females (1 of Lancaster, 1 of Mountville) were located in front of the store. Both were cited with violating the East Hempfield Township Curfew Ordinance and turned over to their parents.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 8-16-21 police received a theft from vehicle report that occurred at America’s Auto Auction, 1040 Commercial Ave. Sometime between 7-13-21 at 1459 hrs and 7/15/21 at 1200 hrs, actor(s) removed a Pennsylvania registration plate from a vehicle. Total estimated value of loss $58.00.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 8-16-21 Justin Eichman (36) of Mount Pleasant Mills, PA was charged with 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance (M), Possession of a Controlled Substance (M) and a summary traffic violation, stemming from an incident 5-22-21 on Leabrook Rd at the intersection of Rohrerstown Rd.
THEFT OF VEHICLE PARTS: On 8-17-21 police responded to U-Hail Co, 5456 Main St, for a theft report. Sometime between 2315-2334 hrs 8-16-21, actor(s) removed 5 catalytic converters from vehicles and attempted to remove a sixth. Total estimated value of loss $7,000.00.
WARRANT SERVICE: On 8-17-21 police responded to the parking lot of Women’s and Babies Hospital, 690 Good Dr, for a suspicious vehicle. Following investigation, the driver, Athen Vasquez (20) of Lancaster, was found to have a warrant through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department. Vasquez was taken into custody and transported to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.
THEFT OF VEHICLE PARTS: On 8-18-21 police responded to Lancaster Kia, 5250 Main St, for a theft report. Sometime between 8-16-21 at 2335 hrs and 8-17-21 at 0014 hrs, actor(s) removed 4 catalytic converters from vehicles. Total estimated value of loss $8,883.23.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 8-18-21 police received a vandalism report in the first block of Elmwood Ave. Sometime between 8-17-21 0400 hrs and 8-18-21 1200 hrs, actor(s) scratched the passenger side of a vehicle. Total estimated value of damage $500.00.
