Police Incidents from 8/22/19 through 9/2/19

RETAIL THEFT: On 8-22-19 police responded to Stauffers of Kissel Hill Supermarket, 301 Rohrerstown Rd, for a retail theft complaint.  It was reported that on 8-9-19 at 1130 hours, a female picked up a customized cake, valued at $235.00, and left the store without making payment.

RETAIL THEFT: On 8-24-19 Michael Canoy (47) of Harrisburg was cited with Retail Theft (S), stemming from an incident at That Fish Place, 237 Centerville Rd, on 7-15-19.  Canoy was observed on video surveillance placing multiple items on his person and leaving the store without making payment.  Total estimated loss $123.14.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: On 8-25-19 at 0040 hours police observed a male in the 200 block of E Main St behaving suspiciously.  Following investigation, Daniel Dambrosio (33) of Landisville was cited for Public Drunkenness (S).

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 8-26-19 police responded to the first block of Rohrerstown Rd for a vandalism complaint.  Sometime between 1000-1045 hours on this date an unknown object shattered the back window of a vehicle.  Estimated total damage $250.00.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:  On 8-26-19 Kristin Stauffer (34) of Lancaster was charged with 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence (M), stemming from a hit and run crash in the parking lot of Lancaster Urology, 2106 Harrisburg Pk, on 8-23-19 at 1632 hours.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE:  On 8-26-19 Jordan Kellander (26) of Ephrata was charged with Unauthorized Use of Vehicle (M2) and False Imprisonment (M2), stemming from an incident at Addiction Recovery Systems, 2192 Embassy Dr, on 8-23-19.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS:  On 8-26-19 police responded to Largo of Lancaster, 3071 Columbia Ave, for a disturbance.  Following investigation, Steven Simmons (57) of Lancaster was cited with Public Drunkenness (S).

SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 8-28-19 police responded to the 3000 block of Nolt Rd for a domestic disturbance.  Following investigation, Damien Matthews (18) of Lancaster was charged with Simple Assault (M2) and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

THEFT: On 8-28-19 police responded to Woodcrest Villa Retirement Home, 2001 Harrisburg Pk, for a theft report.  Sometime between 8-23-19 at 1500 hours and 8-26-19 at 0600 hours, actor(s) removed a DeWalt Impact and Hammer Wrench Set from a locked construction area.  Total estimated loss $350.00.

RETAIL THEFT: On 8-28-19 police responded to the Wine and Spirits Shop, 1761 Columbia Ave, for a retail theft complaint.  On 8-27-19 a black male was observed on video surveillance concealing a bottle of Maker’s Mark whiskey in a bag and leaving the store without making payment.  Total estimated loss $29.99.

RETAIL THEFT: On 8-28-19 police responded to the Sheetz Mini Market, 3101 Columbia Ave, for a retail theft complaint.  At 1126 hours on this date, a male placed approximately 20 cans of Red Bull into a backpack and left without making payment.  Total estimated loss $63.80.

RETAIL THEFT: On 8-29-19 police responded to the Sheetz Mini Market, 3101 Columbia Ave, for a retail theft complaint.  At 1218 hours on this date, a male placed 28 cans of Red Bull into a duffle bag and left without making payment.  Total estimated loss $89.32.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: On 8-29-19 at 0029 hours, police responded to the 3600 block of Columbia Ave for a female walking in the roadway.  Following investigation, Adrienne Bareiss (37) of Mountville was cited with Public Drunkenness (S).

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 8-30-19 police responded to the 1500 block of Swarr Run Rd for a theft from vehicle report.  Sometime between 2100 hours on 8-29-19 and 0920 hours 8-30-19, actor(s) removed a Mac Book Pro, Michael Kors wallet and purse and cash from a vehicle.  Total estimated loss $1,680.00.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 8-30-19 police responded to the 700 block of Imperial Dr for a domestic disturbance.  Following investigation, Jose Angel Rivera (37) of Lancaster was found to have two warrants through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.  Rivera was taken into custody and transported to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.

RETAIL THEFT: On 8-30-19 police responded to Lowes, 25 Rohrerstown Rd, for a retail theft complaint.  On 8-26-19 a female and male were observed on video surveillance removing a GE 24000btu window air conditioner from the store without making payment.  Total estimated loss $599.99.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 8-30-19 police received a complaint of a theft from vehicle in the 1500 block of Swarr Run Rd.  Sometime between 2100 hours on 8-29-19 and 1030 hours on 8-30-19, actor(s) took multiple items including coins from a vehicle.  Total estimated loss $18.00.

RETAIL THEFT: On 8-31-19 police responded to the Sheetz Mini Market, 3101 Columbia Ave for a retail theft complaint. At 1111 hours on this date, a male placed an unknown amount of canned drinks into a backpack and left without making payment.  Unknown amount of loss at this time.

RETAIL THEFT: On 9-2-19 police responded to the Sheetz Mini Market, 3101 Columbia Ave, for a retail theft.  At 1056 hours on this date, a male placed 24 Monster energy drinks into a duffle bag and left without making payment.  Estimated value of loss $78.96.
