POLICE INCIDENTS 7/6-7/22/22

WARRANT SERVICE: On 7-6-22 police conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Landisville Rd.  The driver, Shawn Detweiler (47) of Mohnton, was found to have a warrant through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.  Detweiler was taken into custody and transported to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 7-6-22 Sheyla Jaskira Santana (33) of Newmanstown was charged with Disorderly Conduct (M3) and 2 counts of Harassment (S), stemming from an incident 6-30-22 in the 200 block of Caroline Ct.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 7-6-22 police conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Marietta Ave.  Following investigation, the front passenger of the vehicle, Steven James Schweers (31) of Lancaster, was charged with Possession of Marijuana (M).

ROBBERY: On 7-7-22 at 0244 hrs, police responded to Candlewood Suites, 100 South Tree Dr, for a weapons in progress.  The victim reported a male known to her approached her in the parking lot, held her at gunpoint and demanded her duffel bag, which contained multiple clothing items, cash and credit cards.  Total estimated value of loss $1,000.00.

SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 7-9-22 at 1352 hrs, police responded to the 200 block of Winding Hill Dr for a domestic that just occurred.  Following investigation, David Michael Foster (44) of Lewisberry was taken into custody, charged with Simple Assault-Domestic Violence (M2) and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

THEFT:  On 7-9-22 police located a disabled vehicle parked on the shoulder of Route 283 eastbound MM26.7.  The vehicle was found to have a stolen registration plate attached to it.  Following investigation, it was determined that the registration plate belonging to the disabled vehicle was stolen and replaced with a registration plate stolen from Manheim Borough.

BURGLARY: On 7-11-22 police responded to the 2100 block of Marietta Ave for a residential burglary not in progress.  Sometime between 7-2-22 at 0900 hrs and 7/11/22 at 0800 hrs, actor(s) removed a Honda CR250 dirt bike from a detached garage.  Total estimated value of loss $2,500.00.

THEFT: On 7-12-22 police received two theft reports from a representative of G&B Amusements.  G&B Amusements has skill game machines in the Sunoco at 2141 Marietta Ave and 520 Centerville Rd.  On 6-28-22 at approximately 1830 hrs, three males were captured on video surveillance using a key to access the cash door and remove cash from the machine.  They then went to the Sunoco A Plus at 520 Centerville Rd and repeated the process to access the cash door and remove cash.  Total estimated value of loss $30,257.00.

THEFT: On 7-13-22 police received a theft report that occurred 7-8-22 at ARS, 2192 Embassy Dr.  A female patient was captured on video surveillance picking up a black suede pouch from the floor that belonged to another patient.  Total estimated value of loss $829.00.

VEHICLE THEFT: On 7-13-22 police responded to the U-Haul, 2801 Columbia Ave, for a vehicle theft.  At approximately 0222 hrs on 7-13-22, two individuals are captured on video surveillance entering the U-Haul parking lot.  Within minutes the lights of one of the trucks go on and the vehicle is driven from the parking lot.  The vehicle was found abandoned and running in the 1200 block of Saratoga St, MD.

BURGLARY: On 7-14-22 John William McNeill (43) of New Holland was charged with 2 counts of Burglary (F2) and 2 counts of Conspiracy-Burglary (F2), Shawn Patrick Manning (35) of East Petersburg and Briann Marie Hess (29) of Denver were both charged with 2 counts of Conspiracy-Burglary (F2), stemming from the burglary of Kentucky Fried Chicken, 1533 Columbia Ave, on 6-2-21.  All were issued warrants for their arrest.  Hess was located 7-18-22 by West Caln Township Police, taken into custody, turned over to East Hempfield Township Police and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

RETAIL THEFT: On 7-15-22 police responded to Stauffer’s of Kissel Hill Supermarket, 301 Rohrerstown Rd, for a retail theft report.  On 7-3-22 a family of 2 adults and 4 minor children were captured on video surveillance placing 4 bags of frozen crab legs, 2 bags of frozen shrimp, 1 bag of frozen stuffed chicken breasts and a box of pancake mix in a cart and leaving the store without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $344.74.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 7-16-22 police responded to RCW Athletic Club, 200 Running Pump Rd, for a theft from vehicle report.  Sometime between 1430 hrs and 1700 hrs, this date, actor(s) broke the passenger side rear window and took a tote bag containing a wallet from the vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $425.00.  Total estimated value of damage $250.00.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 7-17-22 at 0134 hrs, police made contact with a disabled vehicle on Centerville Rd in the area of Industry Dr.  Following investigation, the front seat passenger, Yandres Reynoso Perdomo (22) of Lancaster, was found to have a warrant through the Lancaster City Bureau of Police.  Reynoso Perdomo was taken into custody and turned over to the Lancaster City Bureau of Police.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 7-17-22 at 1405 hrs, East Hempfield Township Police Department assisted Manheim Township Police Department in the 200 block of S Homestead Dr to serve a warrant for Simple Assault-Domestic Violence involving a firearm.  The defendant, Quang Truong (37) of Landisville, was taken into custody without incident.

THEFT: On 7-17-22 police received a theft report from Spooky Nook Sports, 2913 Spooky Nook Rd.  Sometime on 7-16-22 between 1015 hrs to 1115 hrs, actor(s) took an iPhone 11 cell phone from a player’s equipment bag during a basketball tournament.  Total estimated value of loss $800.00.

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO ATTENDED VEHICLE: On 7-17-22 police responded to the 3000 block of Columbia Ave for a 2-vehicle accident.  Following investigation, Christopher Thomas Croumbley (42) of Lancaster was charged with Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle (M3) and multiple summary traffic violations for leaving the scene of the accident without providing information to the other vehicle driver.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 7-18-22 police conducted a traffic stop on Graystone Rd in the area of Lemon St.  The driver, Arcadio Rodriguez (51) of Millersville, was found to have a warrant through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.  Rodriguez was taken into custody and transported to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 7-18-22 Robert Flerx (52) of Middletown was charged with Disorderly Conduct (M3) and Harassment (S), stemming from an incident 7-12-22 at Root’s Country Market and Auction, 705 Graystone Rd.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: On 7-18-22 Junior Perez Rivera (50) of Lancaster was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (M) and Use/Possess Paraphernalia (M), stemming from an incident 6-4-22 at 0226 hrs at Turkey Hill, 1503 Columbia Ave. 

HARASSMENT: On 7-20-22 police responded to the 100 block of Ticonderoga Rd for a domestic that just occurred.  Following investigation, Brieanna Lanae Rash (30) of Elkton, MD was charged with Harassment (M3).  A warrant was issued for her arrest.
