POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 7/15/21 THRU 7/21/21

RETAIL THEFT: On 7-14-21 Darryl Lineberry (55) homeless was charged with 2 counts of Retail Theft (F3), stemming from two incidents in June 2021 at Stauffer’s of Kissel Hill Supermarket, 301 Rohrerstown Rd.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.  On 7-17-21 Lineberry was charged with Retail Theft (F3), stemming from an incident 7-14-21 at Stauffer’s of Kissel Hill Supermarket, 301 Rohrerstown Rd.  Lineberry was contacted by Manheim Township Police Department during a traffic stop on 7-17-21.  They took him into custody and transported him to Lancaster County Prison.

THEFT: On 7-15-21 police received a theft report in the 600 block of Good Dr.  A package was taken from a passenger on a Red Rose Transit Bus.  Estimated value of loss $22.00.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: On 7-15-21 at 1559 hrs, police responded to the 1700 block of Columbia Ave for a check on the welfare.  Following investigation, Lon Hughes (50) of Lancaster was cited with Public Drunkenness (S).

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: On 7-15-21 Stephen Charles (43) of Elizabethtown was charged with 3 counts of Possession of Controlled Substance (M), stemming from an incident 12-11-20 at Son’s, 1991 Miller Rd.

THEFT OF VEHICLE PARTS: On 7-16-21 police responded to Excentia, 1810 Rohrerstown Rd, for a theft report.  Sometime between 6-16-21 at 0800 hrs and 7/15/21 at 1500 hrs, actor(s) removed the catalytic converters from 2 vehicles.  Total estimated value of loss $2,000.00.

HARASSMENT: On 7-17-21 police responded to the 100 block of Knights Ln for a disturbance.  Following investigation, Gavin Wiley (23) of Mountville was cited with Harassment (S).

WARRANT SERVICE: On 7-17-21 police responded to Heritage Hotel, 500 Centerville Rd, for a disturbance.  Following investigation, Steele Wiedrich (30) of Marietta was found to have a warrant through the Dauphin County Sheriff’s Department.  Wiedrich was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 7-17-21 police received a theft from vehicle report at Grocery Outlet Bargain Market, 2108 Spring Valley Rd.  Sometime between 1230-1300 hrs, this date, actor(s) removed a wallet from an unlocked vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $26.00.

CRUELTY TO ANIMALS: On 7-19-21 Debra Wheeler (62) of West Chester, PA was cited with Cruelty to Animals (S), stemming from an incident 7-13-21 at Physicians Surgery Center, 2150 Harrisburg Pk.  Wheeler’s dog was found in her vehicle in distress on a day with 88-degree temperatures and high humidity.

BURGLARY: On 7-17-21 police responded to the 3400 block of Nolt Rd to serve a felony warrant on James Andrew Strube (25) of Columbia.   East Hempfield Township Police Department, assisted by Manor Township Police Department and the Northwest Regional Police Department K-9 Unit, surrounded the residence, announced their presence and requested Strube and the female he was visiting exit the residence.   Strube failed to comply, forced his way through a locked door adjoining 2 apartments and was located at the rear door of the residence.  Strube was taken into custody, charged with Burglary (F1), Criminal Trespass (F2), Resisting Arrest (M2) and Criminal Mischief (S) and transported to Lancaster County Prison.  

WARRANT SERVICE: On 7-19-21 police responded to Days Inn, 2929 Hempland Rd, to serve a warrant on Marquez Brunson (28) of Lancaster.  Brunson was located in the building, taken into custody and turned over to Lancaster City Police.

BURGLARY: On 7-19-21 police responded to UPS, 1155 Enterprise Rd, for a burglary report.  Sometime between 7-18-21 at 1159 hrs and 7-19-21 at 0115 hrs, actor(s) broke into the building through a rear door and removed an unknown number of cell phones.  Total estimated value of loss $10,000.00.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 7-19-21 police received a theft report from the 1400 block of Hammock Way.  Sometime between 0344-0348 hrs, a male is captured on video surveillance rummaging through 2 unlocked vehicles and removing cash.  Total estimated value of loss $60.00.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 7-19-21 police received a theft report from the 1300 block of Banner Dr.  Sometime between 7-18-21 at 1600 hrs and 7-19-21 at 0645 hrs, actor(s) removed a pair of Oakley sunglasses from an unlocked vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $450.00.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 7-19-21 police received a theft report from the Sheetz Mini Market, 3101 Columbia Ave.  Sometime between 0340-0345, this date, actor(s) removed a wallet from an unlocked vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $60.00.

THEFT OF LEASED PROPERTY: On 7-20-21 Kyara Gutierrez-Quinones (22) of Willow Street was charged with Theft of Leased Property (F3), stemming from an incident reported 7-2-21 by Lancaster Nissan, 5340 Manheim Pk.  A warrant was issued for her arrest.

THEFT: On 7-21-21 police responded to R H Cooper and Son, 115 W Main St, for a theft report.  Sometime between 0100-0802 hrs, this date, actor(s) removed a catalytic converter from a vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $800.00.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 7-21-21 police responded to the 1900 block of Columbia Ave for a vandalism report.  Sometime between 7-5-21 and 7-21-21, actor(s) punctured the tires of 2 vehicles.  Total estimated value of damage $2,430.00.
