POLICE INCIDENTS 6/21-7/5

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: On 6-18-22 police conducted a traffic stop on Route 283 westbound in the area of State Rd.  The driver, Troy Coleman (57) of Mechanicsburg, was found to have an open container of alcohol in his vehicle.  Coleman was cited with Restrictions on Alcoholic Beverages (S) and Public Drunkenness (S). 

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 6-20-22 John Stewart Hamilton (71) of Lancaster was charged with 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol-1st Offense (M) and a summary traffic violation, stemming from a two-vehicle accident that occurred 6-18-22 on Centerville Rd in the area of Hempland Rd.

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO ATTENDED VEHICLE: On 6-20-22 Amita Sahu (59) of Lancaster was charged with Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle (M3) and two summary traffic violations, stemming from a two-vehicle accident 5-20-22 on Good Dr. in the area of Spring Valley Rd.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: On 6-21-22 Trevor G Rodriguez (37) Of Elizabethtown was cited with Public Drunkenness (S), stemming from an incident at the Comfort Inn & Suites, 543 Champ Blvd, on 6-19-22 at 1240 hrs.

THEFT: On 6-22-22 police responded to the 2400 block of Artesian Way for a theft report.  Sometime between 6-21-22 at 1630 hrs. and 6-22-22 at 0700 hrs., actor(s) cut the hinge on a tool trailer at a construction site and removed multiple tools.  Unknown amount of loss at this time.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 6-22-22 police responded to the 2100 block of Swarr Run Rd for a domestic in progress.  Following investigation, Jeremiah Robinson (39) of Lancaster, was found to have a warrant through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.  Robinson was taken into custody and turned over to a deputy of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 6-24-22 Michael Jared Cohen (49) of Lititz was charged with 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M), Possession of Controlled Substance (M), and several summary traffic violations, stemming from a traffic stop 6-17-22 at 0130 hrs. on Rohrerstown Rd in the area of Commercial Ave.

OWNING, OPERATING OR CONDUCTING A CHOP SHOP: On 6-24-22 Terry R Dull (57) of Lancaster was charged with Owning, Operating or Conducting a Chop Shop (F2), Theft (F3), Receiving Stolen Property (F3), Alteration or Destruction of Vehicle Identification Number (F3), Disposition of Vehicle or Vehicle Part w/Altered Vehicle Identification Number (F3), Deal in Titles & Plates Stolen Vehicle (M1), Make False Application for Title Registration (M1), False Swearing-Mislead Public Servant (M2), 2 counts of Tamper with Public Record/Information (M2) and Statement Under Penalty (M3), stemming from the theft of a hydraulic flat trailer on 9-1-21.

RETAIL THEFT: On 6-24-22 at 1850 hrs, police responded to AT&T, 101 Rohrerstown Rd, for a retail theft that just occurred.  A male and female entered the store asking to add an additional phone line to their account.  When the clerk turned away to speak with another clerk, the female grabbed a JBL CHARGER Speaker and the couple ran from the store.  Total estimated value of loss $179.95.

THEFT BY DECEPTION: On 6-24-22 Kimberly Maul (37) of Lancaster was charged with Theft by Deception (M3), stemming from an incident 2-7-22 at the Wine & Spirits Store, 558 Centerville Rd.  Maul used a cash receipt with a previous date on it, walked into the store and selected the bottle of alcohol from the shelf then presented the receipt and the bottle to receive a cash refund.  Total estimated value of loss $15.89.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 6-25-22 at 1249 hrs., police responded to the 2900 block of Bowman Rd for a vandalism report.  Sometime between 6-24-22 at 1700 hrs and 6-25-22 at 1200 hrs., a residence was struck with 3 golf balls damaging a siding panel.  Approximate value of loss $20.00.  At 1603 hrs this same date, police returned to the same residence for another criminal mischief report.  Sometime between 1507 hrs. and 1602 hrs., a golf ball struck the rear windshield of a vehicle shattering it.  Total estimated value of loss $391.42.

VEHICLE THEFT: On 6-26-22 police responded to the 100 block of School Ln for a vehicle theft report.  Sometime between 0100 hrs and 0929 hrs on this date, actor(s) took a dark gray 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee from a driveway. Total estimated value of loss $32,000.00.  The vehicle was recovered 6-27-22 at 0330 hrs by the Lancaster City Police Bureau in the 600 block of Poplar St, where the vehicle was abandoned after being involved in an accident. 

HARASSMENT: On 6-26-22 at 1233 hrs., police responded to Spooky Nook Sports, 2913 Spooky Nook Rd for a disturbance in progress.  Following investigation, Karla Falco (43) of Norristown was charged with Harassment (S).  Falco struck a referee after he disqualified two basketball players from a game for fighting.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:  On 6-27-22 at 2158 hrs., police conducted a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Marietta Ave.  Following investigation, Emerson Rodriguez Campos (31) of Suitland, MD, was charged with 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and multiple summary traffic violations.  Rodriguez Campos was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

RETAIL THEFT: On 6-28-22 police responded to That Fish Place, 237 Centerville Rd, for a retail theft not in progress.  A female was captured on video surveillance on 6-2-22 placing multiple items into her purse and leaving the store without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $580.68.

THEFT: On 6-29-22 police responded to the 2300 block of Marietta Ave for a theft report.  Sometime between 1130hrs and 1430 hrs this date, actor(s) removed a black Mongoose boys’ bicycle from the backyard of a residence.  Total estimated value of loss $100.00.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 6-29-22 police conducted a person stop in the parking lot of Turkey Hill, 1503 Columbia Ave.  Following investigation, Hung Lam (57) of Harrisburg was found to have a warrant through the Lancaster City Bureau of Police.  Lam was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

THEFT: On 6-30-22 police received a theft report at the construction site of Sweeteners Plus, 3901 Nolt Rd.  Between 6-26-22 and 6-30-22, actor(s) siphoned 270 gallons of diesel fuel from a storage tank and yard trucks.  Total estimated value of loss $1,701.00.

THEFT: On 6-30-22 police received a theft report in the 1200 block of Empire Cir.  Between 1120 hrs. and 1135 hrs. on 6-29-22, the victim was transported by Uber to her residence, forgetting her purse, with cash and credit cards in the Uber.  Total estimated value of loss $1,276.00.  Her credit card was used to make fraudulent purchases at several locations.  Total estimated fraudulent charges $432.89.

THEFT: On 7-1-22 police responded to the 2400 block of Artesian Way for a theft report.  Sometime between 1630 hrs. on 6-30-22 and 0630 hrs. on 7-1-22, actor(s) removed 52 wooden boards and 5 cans of glue from a construction site.  Total estimated value of loss $354.00.

THEFT: On 7-1-22 police responded to Fulton Bank, 2099 Columbia Ave, for a theft report.  Sometime between 0859 hrs. and 1300 hrs. this date, actor(s) removed a bag full of fireworks from a table in the lobby.  Total estimated value of loss $125.00.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 7-4-22 police responded to the 1700 block of Rohrerstown Rd for a fireworks complaint.  Following investigation, Charles Clark (41) of East Petersburg was cited with Disorderly Conduct (S). 

WARRANT SERVICE: On 7-5-22 police conducted a traffic stop on Farmingdale Rd in the area of Wickersham Ln.  The vehicle driver, Michael Landis (44) of Lancaster, was found to have several warrants through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.  Landis was taken into custody and transported to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.
