RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY: On 6-12-20 police conducted a traffic stop on English Brook Dr in the area of Windsor Dr. Following investigation, Damien Matthews (19) of Manheim was charged with Receiving Stolen Property (M3), Possession of Marijuana (M), Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M) and multiple summary traffic violations. Matthews was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison, where he was remanded, unable to post bail.
DRUG DELIVERY RESULTING IN DEATH: On 6-12-20 Benjamin Henry (19) of Lancaster was charged with Drug Delivery Resulting in Death (F1) and Criminal Use of Communication Facility (F3), stemming from an incident 5-2-20 in the 1600 block of English Brook Dr. A warrant was issued for his arrest. Henry was located by East Hempfield Township Police with the assistance of West Hempfield Township Police in the 3100 block of Briarwood Blvd this same date. Henry was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison, where he was remanded, unable to post bail.
THEFT: On 6-12-20 Laura Watrous (33) of Gap was charged with Theft (M1), stemming from incidents that occurred in the 100 block of Urban Dr between 1-20-20 and 3-26-20. Watrous was employed by a home health service and took medication, beverages and cleaning supplies from a residence she worked in. Total estimated value of loss $322.16.
POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: On 6-12-20 April Mason (26) of Marietta was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (M) and a summary traffic violation, stemming from a traffic stop 6-10-20 on Dorsea Rd in the area of Hillaire Rd.
USE/POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: On 6-13-20 police responded to Sheetz Mini Market, 3101 Columbia Ave, for a disturbance. Following investigation, Bertha Boyer (41) of Lancaster was charged with Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M) and was found to have a warrant for Retail Theft through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department. Boyer was taken into custody and turned over to the Sheriff’s Department.
RETAIL THEFT: On 6-14-20 police were contacted by Giant Food Store’s Loss Prevention, 550 Centerville Rd, for two retail theft reports. On 5-26-20 a male and female were captured on video surveillance placing 106 containers of Similac infant formula into bags and leaving the store without making payment. Total estimated value of loss $2,033.11. On 6-2-20 a male and female were captured on video surveillance placing 60 containers of various brands of infant formula into bags and leaving the store without making payment. Total estimated value of loss $1,261.50.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 6-15-20 William J Boyer (43) of Marietta was charged with Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance (M) and multiple summary traffic violations, stemming from a traffic stop 6-10-20 on Route 30 eastbound in the area of Centerville Rd.
FORGERY: On 6-16-20 Nidia Gonzales (38) of Lancaster was charged with Forgery (F3) and Criminal Attempt-Theft (M1) stemming from an incident on 4-3-20 at Northwest Savings Bank, 2134 Marietta Ave. Gonzales attempted to cash a check in the amount of $960.00, that was not issued to her. A warrant was issued for her arrest.
THEFT: On 6-16-20 police responded to UPS, 1155 Enterprise Rd for a theft report. The investigation revealed that Anthony Xioel De La Cruz (21) of Lancaster, was removing items from packages at the facility. On this date multiple electronics and clothing items were taken. Total estimated value of loss $2,221.00. De La Cruz was taken into custody, charged with Theft (F3) and transported to Lancaster County Prison.
