POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 3/15/21 THRU 3/29/21

HARASSMENT: On 3-15-20 George Hall Jr (50) of Landisville was cited with Harassment (S), stemming from an incident 3-9-21 in the 300 block of Caroline Ct.

THEFT: On 3-15-21 police responded to the 1700 block of Swarr Run Rd for a theft report.  Video surveillance captured a male taking the catalytic converter from a vehicle at 0413 hrs on 3-13-21.  Total estimated value of loss $1,200.00.

THEFT: On 3-22-21 police responded to the 2000 block of Harrisburg Pk for a theft report.  Sometime between 3-20-21 at 1200 hrs and 3-22-21 at 1600 hrs, actor(s) cut the catalytic converter off a car.  Total estimated value of loss $2,000.00.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 3-23-21 police conducted a traffic stop in the 3000 block of Columbia Ave and found the driver, Brianna Rivera (26) of Lancaster, to have a warrant through Manor Township Police Department.  Rivera was taken into custody and turned over to a Manor Township police officer.

DEFIANT TRESPASS: On 3-23-21 Stephen Ogorzalek (36) of Lancaster was charged with Defiant Trespass (M3), stemming from an incident 3-17-21 in the 200 block of E Main St.

POSSESS WEAPON ON SCHOOL PROPERTY: On 3-23-21 police responded to Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave, for a disturbance.  Following investigation, a 16-year-old male of Harrisburg was charged with Possess Weapon on School Property (M1) and Disorderly Conduct (M3).

SIMPLE ASSAULT-DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: On 3-25-21 at 2146 hrs police responded to the 700 block of Sylvan Rd for a domestic that just occurred.  Following investigation, Justin Steffish (33) of Lancaster was charged with Simple Assault-Domestic Violence (M2) and Harassment (S).  A warrant was issued for his arrest.  Steffish was located 3-30-21 in the 500 block of Centerville Rd, taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

THEFT BY DECEPTION: On 3-25-21 Cory Kennell (28) of Lancaster was charged with Theft by Deception (M1), stemming from a theft reported 2-25-21 by Turkey Hill, 1503 Columbia Ave.  Kennell was employed by Turkey Hill and between 6-1-20 and 2-24-21, and he is alleged to have voided sales and kept the cash.  Total estimated value of loss $400.00.

DEFIANT TRESPASS: On 3-26-21 at 0818 hrs police responded to Largo of Lancaster, 3051 Columbia Ave, for a trespassing in progress.  Following investigation, Joseph Flinchbaugh (41) of Columbia was charged with Defiant Trespass (M3).  Flinchbaugh was arraigned before Magisterial District Justice Chudzik and released on $10,000.00 unsecured bail.

SIMPLE ASSAULT-DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: On 3-26-21 police responded to the 1700 block of Swarr Run Rd for a domestic dispute.  Following investigation, Gretchen Gutierrez-Schmidt (33) of Lancaster was taken into custody, charged with Simple Assault-Domestic Violence (M2) and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

THEFT: On 3-28-21 police responded to Outfitters Ski Shop, 2221 Marietta Ave, for a theft report.  Sometime between 3-26-21 and 3-28-21, actor(s) removed a sign and the post it was mounted on.  Total estimated value of loss $400.00.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 3-29-21 at 0150 hrs police conducted a routine premise check at the Heritage Hotel, 500 Centerville Rd.  Following investigation of a suspicious vehicle, the driver, Darius Thomas (23) of Lancaster, was charged with Possession of Marijuana (M).

DOG LAW VIOLATION: On 3-29-21 Nicholas Cozzone (39) of Landisville was cited with Confined Within Premises of Owner (S), stemming from an incident 3-26-21 in the 200 block of Main St, where Cozzone’s dog was found running at large.
