POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 3/14/20 THRU 3/27/20

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 3-14-20 police received a report of vandalism in the 300 block of Parklawn Ct.  Sometime between 2200 hrs 3-13-20 and 0930 hrs 3-14-20, actor(s) ran a sharp object horizontally across the driver’s side of a vehicle.  Total estimated value of damage $1,000.00.

THEFT: On 3-14-20 police received a report of a theft from Lancaster Toyota Collision Center, 1188 Enterprise Rd.  Sometime between 3-2-20 and 3-14-20, actor(s) removed a catalytic converter from a vehicle on the lot.  Total estimated value of loss $1,500.00.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 3-16-20 Josean Joel Maldonado (20) and Chrisiya Ortiz (20) both of Lancaster were charged with Possession of Marijuana (M), stemming from an incident 2-27-20 in the parking lot of Medexpress Urgent Care, 4 Rohrerstown Rd. 

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 3-16-20 police responded to the 3000 block of Harrisburg Pk for a 2-vehicle crash.  Following investigation, Bruce Lambie (68) of Lancaster was charged with Driving Under the Influence (M) and a summary traffic violation.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 3-16-20 police responded to the 1500 block of Swarr Run Rd for a child family offense in progress.  Following investigation, Andre Goodman (36) of Lancaster was cited with Disorderly Conduct (S)

STRANGULATION: On 3-17-20 police responded to the 2800 block of Terry Ln for a weapons in progress call.  Following investigation, Hector Valentin, Jr (37) of Lancaster was taken into custody, charged with Strangulation (F2), 2 counts of Simple Assault (M2), 2 counts of Harassment (S) and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

STRANGULATION: On 3-17-20 police responded to the 200 block of Winding Hill Dr for a domestic dispute that just occurred.  Following investigation, Marquesha Wilson (31) of Lancaster was taken into custody, charged with Strangulation (F2), Simple Assault (M2), Harassment (S) and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 3-18-20 police located Sergio Rosario (39) of York in the parking lot of Turkey Hill, 298 E Main St.  Rosario was found to have a warrant through Lehigh County Adult Probation and Parole, was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

BURGLARY: On 3-18-20 police responded to Electron Energy, 300 Running Pump Rd, for the theft of a bicycle.  Sometime between 0900-1330 hrs on this date, actor(s) removed a Giant brand Escape bicycle  from inside the business.  Total estimated value of loss $800.00.

BURGLARY: On 3-18-20 Joshua Heckman (35) of Auburn, PA and Brian Ford (49) of Coal Township, PA were charged with Burglary (F2), Conspiracy to Commit Burglary (F2), Theft (F3) and Criminal Trespass (F3), stemming from a burglary 2-19-20 at The Grounds Guys, 716 Catherine St.  Stolen was a large amount of lawn care tools and equipment.  Total estimated value of loss $14,367.38.  Warrants were issued for their arrest.

FORGERY: On 3-18-20 police responded to M&T Bank, 1847 Columbia Ave, for a fraud in progress.  The suspect presented a fraudulent form of photo identification in an attempt to withdraw funds from an account he is not associated with.  Following investigation, Mark Merius (61) of New York was taken into custody, charged with Forgery (F2), Identity Theft (F3), Theft by Deception (F3) and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 3-18-20 police received a report of a theft from vehicle in the 3400 block of Columbia Ave.  Sometime between 2100-2359 hrs on 3-17-20, actor(s) removed a wallet from an unlocked vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $10.00.

FORGERY: On 3-20-20 a 15-year old male student of Columbia was charged with 2 counts of Forgery (F2), Theft by Deception (M3) and Criminal Attempt Theft by Deception (M3), stemming from an incident at the Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave, 3-3-20.  The juvenile, on more than one occasion, tried to use a counterfeit $20 bill to purchase items in the cafeteria. 

THEFT: On 3-20-20 police received a report of a theft from the 500 block of Caroline Ct.  Sometime between 0900-1045 hrs this date, actor(s) removed a package from in front of an apartment door.  Total estimated value of loss $32.00.

HARASSMENT: On 3-24-20 at 0031 hrs police responded to the 3400 block of Columbia Ave for an altercation.  Following investigation, Kurt Bergey (53) and Sherry Brewer (47) both of Lancaster were cited with Harassment (S).

THEFT: On 3-25-20 Paul Henry III (53) of Conestoga was charged with Theft (F3). The charge was the result of an investigation that commenced at Penncoat, 1921 McFarland Dr on 2-25-20, in which multiple tools and equipment totaling approximately $2,540.00, were determined to have been stolen.
