ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO ATTENDED VEHICLE: On 3-1-21 Mary Boyle (39) of Ephrata was charged with Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle (M3) and multiple summary traffic violations, stemming from a hit and run crash 1-30-21 at Sheetz Mini Market, 3101 Columbia Ave.
HARASSMENT: On 3-1-21 Jimmy Corales Alvarado (28) of Lancaster was cited with Harassment (S), stemming from an incident 2-26-21 in the 3100 block of Nolt Rd.
RETAIL THEFT: On 3-2-21 police responded to the Dollar General, 3515 Columbia Ave, for a retail theft that just occurred. A male was captured on video surveillance placing items inside his coat and a tote bag then leaving the store without making payment. Total amount of loss is unknown at this time.
FLEEING AND ELUDING: On 3-2-21 Jose Miguel Colon-Espada (33) of Lancaster was charged with Fleeing and Eluding Officer (M2), Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked (M3) and multiple summary traffic violations, stemming from a traffic stop 2-25-21 on Good Dr in the area of W Roseville Rd.
STRANGULATION: On 3-6-21 at 2253 hrs, police observed a domestic disturbance while making a premise check at Travelodge Motel, 2101 Columbia Ave. Following investigation, David Abernathy (40) of Lancaster was taken into custody and charged with Strangulation (F2) and Simple Assault (M2). Abernathy was transported to Lancaster County Prison and remanded unable to post bail.
