POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 1/18/21 THRU 1/28/21

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 1-19-21 police responded to the 2000 block of Swarr Run Rd for a theft report.  Sometime between 1-12-21 at 1800 hrs and 1-13-21 at 0900 hrs, actor(s) removed a black Taurus G3 9mm firearm from inside a vehicle and slashed the rear passenger side tire.  Total estimated value of loss $270.00.  Total estimated value of damage $80.00.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 1-19-21 Gino Mattei (59) of Baltimore, MD, was charged with 4 counts of Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance (M) and Possession of Marijuana (M), stemming from a traffic stop 12-15-20 at 0955 hrs on Rohrerstown Rd in the area of the Route 30 westbound ramp.

THEFT: On 1-20-21 Nicolas Hershey (20) of Landisville was charged with Theft (M3), Possession of Controlled Substance (M) and Criminal Mischief (S), stemming from an incident 1-15-21 in the 1600 block of English Brook Dr.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.  Hershey turned himself in to the Lancaster County Prison on this same date.

THEFT: On 1-20-21 Bernard Axe Jr (37) of Columbia and Quentin Burgess (21) of York were both charged with Theft (F3), Conspiracy-Theft (F3), 2 counts of Theft (M1) and 2 counts of Theft from Motor Vehicle (M1).  Axe and Burgess are alleged to have taken tools from two work trucks and from job trailers at three different construction sites between 8-21-20 and 12-20-20 in East Hempfield Township.  Warrants were issued for their arrest.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 1-22-21 Kaleb Pent (22) of Belleville, PA, was charged with Possession of Marijuana (M) and Use/Possess Drug Paraphernalia (M), stemming from a suspicious activity reported 1-12-21 at Roots Country Market & Auction, 705 Graystone Rd.

VEHICLE THEFT: On 1-25-21 police responded to the 100 block of Colonial Crest Dr for a vehicle theft report.  Sometime between 0930-1130 hrs this same date, actor(s) removed a 2004 Suzuki GSXR 1000 motorcycle from a parking space.  Total estimated value of loss $4,500.00.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE: On 1-25-21 Augustin Mercado-Luciano (53) of Lancaster was charged with Theft from Motor Vehicle (M1), stemming from an incident 11-23-20 in the Lowe’s parking lot, 25 Rohrerstown Rd.  Mercado-Luciano is alleged to have removed an air compressor and a chop saw from the bed of a truck.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

TERRORISTIC THREATS: On 1-25-21 police received a report from management at Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative, 201 Running Pump Rd, that an employee was making terroristic threats.  Following investigation, Brian Harnly (27) of Mount Joy was charged with Terroristic Threats (M1) and a warrant was issued for his arrest.  Harnly was located 1-26-21 in the first block of Harvestview South, Mount Joy, taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

THEFT BY DECEPTION: On 1-27-21 Candace Gilbreath (34) of Baltimore, MD was charged with Theft by Deception (F3), stemming from a report received 1-12-21 from Citizens Bank, 600 Centerville Rd.  Gilbreath, on three separate occasions, deposited fraudulent checks into an account and withdrew the money as cash.  Total estimated value of loss $5,093.61.  A warrant was issued for her arrest.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: On 1-26-21 police responded to Spooky Nook Sports, 2913 Spooky Nook Rd, for a male trespassing in the Dome.  Upon arrival, officers located Jerome Martin (43) of Harrisburg inside of the building, and he was completely naked. Martin was transported to an area hospital for evaluation. Martin was subsequently charged with Criminal Trespass (F3), Possess Controlled Substance (M), Indecent Exposure (M2), Disorderly Conduct (M3) and Public Drunkenness (S).  Martin was later taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison, where he was remanded unable to post bail.
