LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT: On 1-16-19 Michael Lee (28) of Lancaster was charged with Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle/Property (M3). Lee was involved in a 2-vehicle crash on 1-10-19 at 1835 hours in the 900 block of Rohrerstown Rd. Lee left the scene on foot prior to police arrival.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 1-16-19 at 2044 hours a white extended cab pick-up truck pulling a small dark trailer was observed on video surveillance entering the lot of B R Kreider & Son Inc, 63 Kreider Ln, and siphoning fuel from one of the trucks. Estimated amount of loss $150.00 of diesel fuel.
THEFT: On 1-16-19 a representative of Salem United Church of Christ, 2312 Marietta Ave, reported a Theft of Mail that occurred sometime on 1-15-19. Several pieces of mail were found opened and strewn about the front yard. The value of stolen mail is unknown at this time.
WARRANT SERVICE: On 1-16-19 police initiated a traffic stop on Rohrerstown Rd in the area of Shaaron Dr. The vehicle driver, Maria Almestica (34) of Mount Joy, was found to have 7 warrants through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department. Almestica was taken into custody and turned over to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 1-14-19 police responded to River Rock Academy, 2124 Ambassador Cir, for a criminal mischief complaint. It was reported that a 15-year old male student of Ephrata kicked and shattered an office window. The student was charged with Criminal Mischief (M2). Estimated damage is $2,394.00.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 1-16-19 there was an altercation at the Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave, involving (4) 11th Grade students. Following investigation a 16-year old male student of Lancaster was cited with Harassment (S), a 16-year old male student of Lancaster was cited with Disorderly Conduct (S), a 16-year old male student of Columbia was cited with Disorderly Conduct (S) and a 17-year old male student of Landisville was cited with Harassment (S).
BURGLARY: On 1-20-19 police responded to the Asian Center Super Market, 2060 Bennett Ave, for a burglary report. Between 1-19-19 at 2030 hours and 1-20-19 at 0910 hours, actor(s) forced entry into the business. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
BURGLARY: On 1-20-19 police responded to Parma Pizza, 301 E Main St, for a burglary report. Between 1-19-19 at 2300 hours and 1-20-19 at 1000 hours, actor(s) forced entry into the building. An undisclosed amount of cash and other property were taken.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 1-20-19 at 0249 hours police responded to the 800 block of Hillaire Rd for a theft from vehicle complaint. The victim observed two males, wearing all black, rummaging through his vehicle, which was unlocked and parked in his driveway. The males left the area in a red sedan with a loud exhaust system. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.
