CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 11-3-21 police responded to Centerville Nails, 568 Centerville Rd, for a vandalism report. Sometime between 0830 hrs and 1935 hrs, actor(s) smashed the back window of a vehicle and cracked the windshield of another vehicle. Total estimated value of damage $1,000.00.
THEFT: On 11-7-21 at 1326 hrs, police responded to the 2300 block of Marietta Ave for a theft that just occurred. Two juvenile males were observed taking a 26” Schwinn touring bicycle and a 16” black frame bicycle with pink tires from a back yard and riding them from the property. Total estimated value of loss $1,100.00.
THEFT: On 11-7-21 at 1619 hrs, police responded to Spooky Nook Sports, 2913 Spooky Nook Rd, for a theft report. At 1455 hrs on this date, a juvenile male is captured on video taking a basketball from under a bench. Total value of loss unknown at this time.
WARRANT SERVICE: On 11-8-21 at 1250 hrs, police responded to Sheetz Mini Market, 3101 Columbia Ave, for a disturbance in progress. Following investigation, Kristie Gunzenhauser (38) of Gap was found to have several warrants through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department. Gunzenhauser was taken into custody and transported to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.
SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 11-8-21 a 16-year-old male student of Leola was charged with Simple Assault (M3), stemming from an incident 11-2-21 at River Rock Academy, 2124 Ambassador Cir.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 11-8-21 Benjamin Harrison Fisher (46) of Lancaster was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Controlled Substance-2nd Offense (M1) and a summary traffic violation, stemming from a single-vehicle crash 11-4-21 on Route 283 westbound in the area of Rohrerstown Rd.
THEFT BY DECEPTION: On 11-9-21 Laurie Ellen Rager (45) of Harrisburg was charged with 2 counts of Theft by Deception (F3), 2 counts of Theft-Fail to Make Required Disbursement of Funds (F3), 2 counts of Bad Checks (M1), Defraud Secured Creditors (M2), Secure Execution Docs by Deception (M2), Tamper with Public Record (M2) and Fabricate Physical Evidence (M2). Rager allegedly provided checks from 2 different closed accounts to Mercedes Benz of Lancaster, 5100 Main St, in August 2021 for the purchase of a vehicle. The vehicle was recovered. A warrant was issued for Rager’s arrest.
HARASSMENT: On 11-9-21 two 14-year-old female students of Lancaster were cited with Harassment (S), stemming from an incident 10-25-21 at Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave.
AGGRAVATED INDECENT ASSAULT: On 11-9-21 Jeffrey Nauman (46) of Landisville was charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Indecent Assault (F1), 2 counts of Endangering Welfare of Children (F3), 2 counts of Corruption of Minors (F3), 2 counts of Aggravated Indecent Assault-Person Less than 13 Years Old and 2 counts of Indecent Assault-Person Less Than 13 Years Old (F3). The assaults of the 2 female juveniles are alleged to have occurred over the course of 7 years from 2013 to 2020. A warrant was issued for Nauman’s arrest. He was located in the first block of W Main St on 11-10-21, taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.
THEFT: On 11-10-21 police responded to Aqua Premier Auto Wash, 2907 Columbia Ave for a theft report. On 11-9-21 a male was captured on video surveillance picking up a wallet that was left there by mistake and placing it in his pocket. Total estimated value of loss $59.00.
THEFT: On 11-10-21 police responded to Community Fellowship Church, 200 Bethel Dr, for a theft report. Sometime between 11-9-21 1330 hrs and 11-10-21 at 0948 hrs, actor(s) removed approximately 40-50 feet of copper piping from the building. Total estimated value of loss $1,000.00.
THEFT: On 11-10-21 police responded to the Asian Mini Mart, 1831 Columbia Ave, for a theft that just occurred. A female is captured on video surveillance picking up a wallet from a chair, removing the cash and handing the wallet to a male companion, who places the wallet in his pocket. Total estimated value of loss $1,700.00.
THEFT: On 11-10-21 police responded to Findley Automotive, 2705 Lancaster Rd, for a theft report. Sometime between 11-9-21 at 1700 hrs and 11-10-21 at 0730 hrs, actor(s) removed a catalytic converter from a truck. Total value of loss is unknown at this time.
