POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 10/1/21 THRU 10/11/21

DOG LAW VIOLATION: On 10-1-21 Ardis Brandt (57) of Landisville was cited with Confined within Premises of Owner (S), stemming from an incident 9-25-21, where Brandt’s dog was found in the 200 block of Stony Battery Rd running at large.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: On 10-2-21 police responded to the 2800 block of Scenic Dr for a disturbance in progress.  Following investigation, Michael Arellano (52) of Lancaster was cited with Public Drunkenness.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: On 10-4-21 a 15-year-old male student of Ephrata was charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Assault (F2), Terroristic Threats (M1) and Harassment (S), stemming from an incident at River Rock Academy, 2124 Ambassador Cir, on 9-21-21.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: On 10-4-21 police responded to Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave, for a disturbance in progress.  Following investigation, a 16-year-old male student of Landisville was charged with Aggravated Assault (F2), Simple Assault (M2) and Disorderly Conduct (M3).

RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY: On 10-5-21 Jeffrey Walton, Jr (24) of Gap was charged with Receiving Stolen Property (M1), stemming from a burglary 9-21-21 in the 200 block of E Main St.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

RETAIL THEFT: On 10-10-21 police responded to Giant Food Store, 550 Centerville Rd, for a retail theft report.  Management reported that on 9-15-21 at 1753 hrs, a male and a female were captured on video surveillance entering the store, going directly to the baby formula aisle, loading a cart full of Similac baby formula and leaving the store without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $1,160.66.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 10-11-21 police received a theft from vehicle report in the 100 block of Pentail Dr.  Sometime between 10-10-21 at 1800 hrs and 10-11-21 at 0930 hrs, actor(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and opened all compartments looking for valuables.  Nothing was found to be missing.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 10-11-21 police received a theft from vehicle report in the 100 block of Teal Ter.  Sometime between 10-10-21 at 2100 hrs and 10-11-21 at 0653 hrs, actor(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and opened all compartments looking for valuables.   Nothing was found to be missing.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 10-11-21 police received a theft from vehicle report in the first block of Welsh Dr.  Sometime between 10-10-21 at 2100 hrs and 10-11-21 at 1845 hrs, actor(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and removed change.  Total estimated value of loss $2.00.
