Police, Fire and EMS from multiple agencies responded to Spooky Nook Sports, 2913 Spooky Nook Rd. Manheim PA, for a report of gunfire inside the building where a large basketball tournament was being held. 

As of 1650hrs., we have learned that a fight broke out during one of the basketball games.  Several people reported hearing a gunshot.  As of this time, we have no witnesses who can confirm seeing a gun and no victims of gunfire.  

Six people were transported to area hospitals for injuries sustained while evacuating the building.  Approximately six others were treated and released by EMS on-scene.  

East Hempfield PD is continuing to investigate this incident and is reviewing video as well as speaking with witnesses.

UPDATE:

Police have cleared the building after conducting searches of all areas and completing interviews with Spooky Nook Sports staff and visitors.  Officers have reviewed some video and at this point the investigations continues.  There has been nothing to confirm the initial report of a gunshot being fired.  We do not have witnesses or evidence to support the initial calls to 911 for shots fired at this time.
