POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 9/26/22 THRU 10/5/22

THEFT: On 9-26-22 police received a theft report in the 100 block of E Main St.  At 2108 hrs a female is captured on video surveillance stepping onto a porch and taking a full pack of cigarettes from a table.  Total estimated value of loss $13.00.

HARASSMENT: On 9-26-22 police responded to River Rock Academy, 2124 Ambassador Cir, for a disturbance.  Following investigation, a 15-year-old male student of Lancaster was cited with Harassment (S).

THEFT: On 9-27-22 police received a theft report in the 2100 block of Junction Rd.  Sometime between 9-19-22 and 9-26-22, actor(s) removed a hydraulic power pack from a storage unit.  Total estimated value of loss $1,000.00.

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO ATTENDED VEHICLE: On 9-27-22 Caleb Michael Webbere (24) of Mountville was charged with Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle (M3) and a summary traffic violation, stemming from a two-vehicle accident 9-16-22 in the 2900 block of Old Tree Dr.

RETAIL THEFT: On 9-28-22 at 0829 hrs, police responded to Sheetz, 2149 State Rd, for several retail theft reports.  Management provided video surveillance of 6 retail thefts that occurred between 9-15-22 and 9-23-22 and the time frame of 2308 hrs to 0412 hrs.  On each occasion a different male enters the walk-in cooler, takes alcohol and leaves the store without making payment.   Total estimated value of loss $173.00.

THEFT: On 9-28-22 police responded to the 600 block of S Chiques Rd for a theft report.  Sometime between 0200 hrs and 1615 hrs, actor(s) took 3 flashlights and a bicycle lock from the porch of a residence.  Total estimated value of loss $35.00.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 9-30-22 police responded to the 1400 block of Stony Battery Rd for a vandalism report.  Sometime between 9-26-22 and 9-27-22, actor(s) knocked over a portion of a wooden picket fence.  Total estimated value of loss $100.00.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 10-2-22 police responded to the 1700 block of Swarr Run Rd for a vandalism report.  Sometime between 0240 hrs and 0310 hrs, actor(s) threw 2 flower pots off a porch.  Total estimated value of damage is $20.00.

BURGLARY: On 10-3-22 at 0001 hrs, police responded to Speedway, 1660 Rohrerstown Rd, for an alarm at the rear door. The investigation revealed that between 2345 hrs and 2359 hrs on 10-2-22, unknown actor(s) forced entry to the business and stole cash from within. Total estimated value loss $400.00.

THEFT: On 10-4-22 police responded to the 700 block of Scarsdale Cir for a theft report.  Sometime between 10-3-22 at 2330 hrs and 10-4-22 at 0800 hrs, actor(s) removed the catalytic converter from a vehicle.  Unknown amount of loss at this time.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 10-4-22 Riley Andrew Lichvar (18) of Landisville was charged with Possession of Marijuana (M), Use/Possess Paraphernalia (M) and a summary traffic violation, stemming from a traffic stop 9-30-22 in the 1100 block of Graystone Rd.

HARASSMENT: On 10-5-22 police responded to River rock Academy, 2124 Ambassador Cir, for a disturbance.  Following investigation, a 14-year-old male student of Columbia was cited with Harassment (S).  The student was taken into custody at the request of Juvenile Probation and transported to Lancaster Youth Intervention Center.
