POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 4/14/22 THRU 4/27/22

RETAIL THEFT: On 4-14-22 police responded to Sheetz Mini Market, 3101 Columbia Ave, for a retail theft that just occurred.  A male walked into the beer cooler, picked up a six-pack of Voodoo Ranger IPA and a twelve-pack of Seagram’s Escapes, walked past the registers without making payment and ran north on Centerville Rd.  The offender, identified as Corey Koons (41) of Lititz, was located a short time later in the 500 block of Centerville Rd with the beer in his backpack.  Koons was charged with Retail Theft (F3), taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 4-15-22 an officer was approached by a male on foot in the 1200 block of Rohrerstown Rd to report a disturbance in progress in a vehicle parked on Harrisburg Pk in the area of Olde Rohrerstown Rd.  Following investigation, Lamont Williams (53) and homeless was found to have a warrant through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.  Williams was taken into custody and turned over to a Sheriff’s Deputy.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 4-15-22 police responded to the 1400 block of Banner Dr for a vandalism report.  Sometime between 2000-2215 hrs, actor(s) splattered paint all over the outside of the property.  The paint was still wet when police arrived.  Unknown value of damage at this time.   

BURGLARY: On 4-16-22 Barry Jay Decker Jr. (36) of Lancaster was arrested and charged with: Burglary; Endangering the Welfare of Children; Strangulation; Recklessly Endangering Another Person; Terroristic Threats; Simple Assault; and Criminal Mischief stemming from an incident that same date in the 00 block of Colonial Crest Dr. Decker is accused of forcing his way inside of the apartment while brandishing a firearm, and then assaulting the female resident.

SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 4-19-22 at 0120 hrs, police responded to Days Inn, 2929 Hempland Rd, for a domestic that just occurred.  Following investigation, Ryan Sheckart (41) of Lititz was taken into custody, charged with Simple Assault (M2)-Domestic Violence and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

DOG ATTACK: On 4-19-22 Christelle Kilian (40) of Lancaster was cited with Dog Attacks Human w/o Provocation (S) and Confined Within Premises of Owner (S), stemming from an incident 4-13-22 in the 2800 block of Michener Dr.  Kilian’s dog was running loose and bit a neighbor.

DOG LAW VIOLATION: On 4-19-22 Michaela Wood (24) of Lancaster was cited with Confined Within Premises of Owner (S), stemming from an incident 4-11-22.  Wood’s dog was found running loose in the 2800 block of Wimbledon Ln.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 4-19-22 Michael John Simmons Jr (23) of Lancaster was charged with 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M), stemming from an incident 4-13-22 in the 2100 block of Marietta Ave.

VEHICLE THEFT: On 4-20-22 police responded to the 100 block of Colonial Crest Dr for a vehicle theft report.  Sometime between 4-19-22 at 2030 hrs and 4-20-22 at 0627 hrs, actor(s) took a 2015 Nissan Rogue, that was unlocked with the key in the vehicle, from the parking lot.  Total estimated value of loss $13,000.00. 

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 4-20-22 police were approached in the 100 block of Colonial Crest Dr for a theft from vehicle report.  Sometime between 4-19-22 1800 hrs and 4-20-22 at 0730 hrs, actor(s) removed clothing from an unlocked vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $50.00.

VEHICLE THEFT: On 4-20-22 police responded to the first block of Welsh Dr for a vehicle theft report.  Sometime between 4-19-22 at 1830 hrs and 4-20-22 at 0848 hrs, actor(s) took a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek, that was unlocked with the key in the vehicle, from the parking lot.  Total estimated value of loss $23,000.00.

RETAIL THEFT: On 4-21-22 Aaron Wacker (46) of Lancaster was charged with Retail Theft (F3), stemming from an incident 4-6-22 at Giant Food Store, 550 Centerville Rd.  A Warrant was issued for his arrest.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 4-22-22 police responded to 501 Richardson Dr for a theft from vehicle report.  Sometime between 4-21-22 at 1059 hrs and 4-22-22 at 0056 hrs, actor(s) used a tool to pry open the locked driver’s side door.  A Glock 19X handgun, currency and a bottle of cologne were taken from the vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $660.00.  Total value of damage unknown at this time.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 4-22-22 police responded to the first block of Ann Ave for a theft from vehicle report.  Sometime between 4-21-22 at 1800 hrs and 4/22/22 at 0700 hrs, actor(s) took a wallet from an unlocked vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $200.00.  While on scene, police received reports two additional complaints of vehicles that were entered and rummaged through on this block during this same time frame, with nothing taken.

STOLEN VEHICLE: On 4-22-22 at 0810 hrs, police responded to two residences in the 1000 block of Nissley Rd for stolen vehicle reports.  One of the victim’s had video surveillance of several males in dark clothing in the area at approximately 0308 hrs on 4-22-22.  At 0310 hrs one of the males entered a 2013 Toyota Avalon and another male entered a 2016 Kia Sorrento in a driveway across the street.  The vehicles were driven from the scene at the same time and both vehicles were unlocked with the keys inside.  At approximately 0830 hrs on 4-22-22 Lancaster City Police Department recovered the Toyota Avalon in the first block of Ruby St. Total estimated value of loss unknown at this time.

TERRORISTIC THREATS: On 4-23-22 police responded to the 700 block of Scarsdale Cir for a domestic that just occurred.  Following investigation, Christopher A Rivera (34) of Lancaster was charged with Terroristic Threats-Domestic Violence (M1) and Harassment-Domestic Violence (S).  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

TERRORISTIC THREATS: On 4-23-22 police responded to the 100 block of Cooper Ave for a vandalism complaint.  The rear sliding door of the residence was shattered with a rock and the victim’s vehicle had a word scratched into the driver’s side rear door.  Unknown value of damage at this time.  Following investigation, Andre Isiah Hester (32) of Columbia was charged with Terroristic Threats-Domestic Violence (M1), Harassment-Domestic Violence (M3) and 2 counts of Criminal Mischief (M2).  A warrant was issued for his arrest.  Hester was located 4-26-22 in the 100 block of Stonehouse Ln, taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 4-25-22 Stephen Shore (53) of Landisville was charged with 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and Careless Driving(S), stemming from a crash that occurred when the motorcycle Shore was riding struck the rear bumper of a vehicle he was following and 3 parked vehicles in the first block of W Main St on 3-2-22.

DRUG DELIVERY RESULTING IN DEATH: On 4-25-22 Nicole Ashely Kirsh (39) of Lancaster was charged with Drug Delivery Resulting in Death (F1) and Criminal Use of Communication Facility (F3), stemming from a death investigation 3-10-22 in the 1700 block of Marietta Ave.  A warrant was issued for her arrest.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 4-27-22 police responded to the Candlewood Suites, 100 South Tree Dr, for a warrant service on behalf of the York County Sheriff’s Department.  Anastasia Ortega (40) of Lancaster, was located in the lobby, taken into custody and transported to the Lancaster County Prison.
