POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 3/3/23 THRU 3/8/23

THEFT: On 3-3-22 a 15-year-old male of East Petersburg was charged with Theft (M3), stemming from an incident 2-27-23 at Parma Pizza, 301 E Main St.  The juvenile is alleged to have entered the restaurant, grabbed the tip jar and run out the door with it.  

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 3-3-23 McKenna Whitney Whisler (32) of Lancaster was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and several summary traffic citations, stemming from a traffic stop 2-25-23 at 0059 hrs on Route 283 East in the area of State Rd.

HARASSMENT: On 3-3-23 a 14-year-old female student of East Petersburg was cited with Harassment (S), stemming from an incident 2-10-23 at Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave.

HARASSMENT: On 3-5-23 police responded to the first block of Duo Dr for a domestic in progress.  Following investigation, a 16-year-old male was cited with Harassment-Domestic Violence (S).

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 3-6-23 William Joaquin Cordero (20) of Columbia was charged with Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance (M) and several summary traffic violations, stemming from a traffic stop 3-3-23 at 0743 hrs on Centerville Rd in the area of Hempland Rd.

HARASSMENT: On 3-6-23 a 17-year-old female of Lancaster was cited with Harassment-Domestic Violence (S), stemming from a domestic in the 1700 block of Swarr Run Rd on 3-3-23.

RETAIL THEFT: On 3-6-23 Zachary W Dooney (40) Of Newville, PA was charged with Retail Theft (F3), stemming from an incident 1-11-23 at BJ’s Wholesale Club, 110 Centerville Rd.  Dooney is alleged to have taken a 65-inch Samsung television and a case of Mobil motor oil out of the store without making payment.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 3-6-23 a 15-year-old female student of Landisville was charged with Possession of Marijuana (M) and Possession/Use of Paraphernalia (M), stemming from an incident this same date at Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave.

BURGLARY: On 3-7-23 police responded to Prestige Gymnastics, 3549 Hempland Rd, for a burglary report.  Sometime between 0159 hrs and 0230 hrs on 3-7-23, actor(s) pried open a metal door to enter the building.  Unknown value of loss at this time.  Unknown value of damage at this time.

INSTITUTIONAL VANDALISM: On 3-8-23 two 15-year-old male students of East Petersburg were charged with Institutional Vandalism (M2), stemming from an incident 2-13-23 at Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave.  The males allegedly created a large amount of graffiti on the walls in a school bathroom.  Total estimated value of damage $58.14.

THEFT: On 3-8-23 police received a theft report that occurred 3-7-23 at Goodwill, 121 Rohrerstown Rd.  Sometime between 1200 hrs and 1400 hrs, actor(s) removed a wallet from a shopping cart.  Total estimated value of loss $42.50.
