POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 2/3/22 THRU 2/10/22

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 2-4-22 police received a theft from vehicle report in the 700 block of Imperial Dr.  Sometime between 0230-0800 hrs this date, actor(s) rummaged through an unlocked vehicle parked on the street.  Nothing was found to be missing.

HOME IMPROVEMENT FRAUD: On 2-4-22 Robert Santmyer Jr (54) of Mount Joy was charged with Home Improvement Fraud (F3) and Theft by Deception (F3).  Santmyer, doing business as R and R Tree Service, signed a contract 8-12-21 to do an emergency tree service in the 800 block of Bellecrest Rd and collected a 50% deposit.  The service was not completed and the deposit was not refunded.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

THEFT: On 2-4-22 Jimmy Omar Green (35) of Lancaster was charged with Theft (M1), Possession of Marijuana (M) and Public Drunkenness (S), stemming from an incident 1-31-22 at Giant Food Store, 550 Centerville Rd.  Green took a purse from a shopping cart, but the owner was able to take it back. 

THEFT: On 2-5-22 police received a theft report in the 300 block of Brandt Rd.  Sometime between 0800-1600 hrs on 2-3-22, actor(s) removed a political sign from a yard.  Total estimated value of loss $20.00.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 2-7-22 police received a theft from vehicle report in the 900 block of Imperial Dr.  Sometime between 2-3-22 at 1900 hrs and 2-4-22 at 0800 hrs, actor(s) removed a backpack with swimming gear from a vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $160.00.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 2-7-22 Qing Yang (58) of Lancaster was cited with Disorderly Conduct (S), stemming from an incident 2-5-22 in the 800 block of Sylvan Rd.  Yang was captured on video throwing a bag of dog feces in a neighbor’s yard and smearing it on their mail.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 2-7-22 Richard McCall (57) of Lancaster was charged with 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence of Controlled Substance (M), stemming from a 3-vehicle crash on 12-29-21 in the area of McGovernville Rd and Harrisburg Pk.

THEFT: On 2-9-22 police responded to Hempfield United Methodist Church, 3050 Marietta Ave, for a theft report.  Sometime between 2-3-22 at 0800 hrs and 2-9-22 at 1340 hrs, actor(s) removed (5) Weis Markets gift cards and (2) Giant Food Stores gift cards from the church office.  Total estimated value of loss $650.00.

SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 2-9-22 a 16-year-old male student of Lancaster was charged with Simple Assault (M1) and Terroristic Threats (M1), stemming from an incident 2-7-22 at Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave.

RETAIL THEFT: On 2-9-22 Aiden Lewis Hibbard (26) of Harrisburg was charged with Retail Theft (M1), stemming from an incident 11-12-21 at That Fish Place, 237 Centerville Rd.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

TERRORISTIC THREATS: On 2-10-22 a 12-year-old male of Lancaster was charged with Terroristic Threats (M1), stemming from an incident 2-6-22 in the 600 block of Church St.

HARASSMENT: On 2-10-22 Sakina Vazquez-Bennett (30) of Raynham, MA was cited with Harassment (S), stemming from an incident 2-6-22 at Spooky Nook Sports, 2913 Spooky Nook Rd.

HARASSMENT: On 2-11-22 Christopher Manuel (18) of Ephrata was cited with Harassment (S), stemming from an incident 2-10-22 at the Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center, 101 Champ Blvd.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 2-11-22 Steven Rivera (30) of Lancaster was cited with Criminal Mischief (S), stemming from a domestic dispute 2-8-22 in the 2100 block of Swarr Run Rd.
