POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 2/24/23 THRU 3/2/23

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 2-23-24 at 2116 hrs, police responded to Marietta Ave in the area of Centerville Rd for a two-vehicle accident.  Following investigation, Thomas Morrison (32) of Lancaster was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Controlled Substance-combination Alcohol/Drug (M1).

VEHICLE THEFT: On 2-26-23 at 2256 hrs, police responded 2348 Harrisburg Pk, for a stolen vehicle report.  Sometime between 1700 hrs and 2255 hrs, actor(s) removed a 2017 white in color Mercedes Benz CLS-550 from the driveway.  Total estimated value of loss $39,000.00.  The vehicle was located unoccupied by Central Berks Regional Police Department on 2-27-23

THEFT: On 2-27-23 at 1556 hrs, police responded to Parma Pizza, 301 E Main St, for a theft that just occurred.  At 1545 hrs a male entered the restaurant, took the tip jar from the counter, and fled.  Total estimated value of loss $300.00.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 2-27-23 police responded to the 1300 block of Banner Dr for a vandalism report.  Sometime between 2-20-23 and 2-27-23, actor(s) shot what appeared to be a BB through a window of the residence.  Total estimated value of loss $325.00.

THEFT: On 2-27-23 police responded to a construction site at 2401 Marietta Ave for a theft report.  Sometime between 2-24-23 at 1600 hrs and 2-27-23 at 0700 hrs, actor(s) took a Essick Cement Mixer from the site.  Total estimated value of loss $3,800.00.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 2-27-23 Lisa M Pantaleo (49) of Lancaster was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Controlled Substance (M) and multiple summary traffic violations, stemming from a two-vehicle accident 1-13-23 at 1703 hrs in the 2100 block of Harrisburg Pk.

RETAIL THEFT: On 2-28-23 Marc Matthew Gehr (48) homeless was charged with 6 counts of Retail Theft (F3).  On 10-1-22, 10-18-22, 1-8-23, 2-4-23, 2-11-23 and 2-14-23 Gehr is alleged to have entered Stauffer’s of Kissel Hill Supermarket, 301 Rohrerstown Rd, and concealed various items in his pants and jacket and leaving the store without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $239.87.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

HARASSMENT: On 2-28-23 police responded to the 1700 block of Marietta Ave for a disturbance.  Following investigation, Shawna E Gbossou (46) of Lancaster was cited with Harassment (S).

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 3-1-23 Ruth Maria Garcia (55) of Lancaster was cited with Disorderly Conduct (S), stemming from an incident 1-24-23 at Turkey Hill, 1503 Columbia Ave.

HARASSMENT: On 3-2-23 a 16-year-old female student of Willow Street was cited with Harassment (S), stemming from an incident 2-24-23 at Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 3-2-23 Jose A Torres Sr (57) of York was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol-Highest Rate of Alcohol (F3), Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol -Incapable of Driving Safely (M2), Driving While Operating Privileges are Suspended or Revoked-DUI Related (M1) and several summary traffic violations, stemming from a single-vehicle accident 1-24-23 on Route 30 West in the area of Rohrerstown Rd.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.
