ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD: On 12-22-21 police received a theft report that occurred at Giant Food Store, 550 Centerville Rd. Sometime between 0920-1005 hrs on this date, actor(s) removed a purse, with an estimated value of $200.00, from a shopping cart. The American Express credit card contained in the purse was then used to make 5 separate Cash App withdrawals totaling $2,060.00.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 12-22-21 Faith Lee Schumacher (22) of Gap was charged with 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and Possession of Marijuana (M), stemming from a single-vehicle crash 12-20-21 at 2132 hrs on S Colebrook Rd in the area of Landisville Rd.
HARASSMENT: On 12-22-21 a 15-year-old male student of Willow Street and Blake Stafford an 18-year-old male student of Bainbridge were both cited with Harassment (S), stemming from an altercation at River Rock Academy, 2124 Ambassador Cir on 12-16-21.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: On 12-23-21 at 0442 hrs police responded to the Red Carpet Inn, 2101 Columbia Ave, for a disturbance in progress. Following investigation, Joel D Vazquez-Frias (26) of Lancaster was charged with Aggravated Assault (F2), Terroristic Threats (M1), 2 counts of Criminal Mischief (M2), Disorderly Conduct (S) and Public Drunkenness (S). Vazquez-Frias was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison. His bail was set at $250,000.00.
THEFT: On 12-24-21 police received a theft report in the 2400 block of Chestnut Ridge Dr. Sometime between 12-19-21 at 2100 hrs and 12-20-21 at 0600 hrs, actor(s) removed two metal Private Drive signs and posts. Total estimated value of loss $240.00.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 12-29-21 police received a vandalism report at UPS, 1155 Enterprise Rd. Sometime between 12-27-21 at 1800 hrs and 12-28-21 at 0315 hrs, actor(s) damaged the passenger side window of a vehicle in the parking lot. Total estimated value of damage $200.00.
HARASSMENT: On 12-29-21 police received a domestic disturbance report that occurred in the 2200 block of Marietta Ave at 1637 hrs this date. Following investigation, Catherine Gray (49) of Lancaster was cited with Harassment (S).
TERRORISTIC THREATS: On 12-31-21 at 1758 hrs, police responded to the 1300 block of Bryan Dr for a domestic in progress. Following investigation, Jared Adam Kieffer (27) of Lancaster was charged with Terroristic Threats-Domestic Violence (M1), Simple Assault-Domestic Violence (M2) and Harassment-Domestic Violence (M3). Kieffer was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 1-1-22 at 1547 hrs, police responded to the 200 block of Running Pump Rd for a theft from vehicle report. Sometime between 1200 to 1545 hrs on 1-1-22, actor(s) removed purses from two vehicles by breaking windows. Total estimated value of loss and value of damage unknown at this time.
RESISTING ARREST: On 1-3-22 Kenneth Elijah Gonzalez (26) of Lancaster was charged with Resisting Arrest (M2) and Public Drunkenness (S), stemming from an incident 12-20-21 at Sunoco, 2141 Marietta Ave.
THEFT OF SERVICES: On 1-3-22 Javian Ivan Reyes (18) of Lancaster was charged with Theft of Services (M2), stemming from an incident 12-8-21 at Batteries Plus, 3023 Columbia Ave. Batteries Plus repaired the camera on an iPhone 12 for Reyes and Reyes is alleged to have taken the iPhone and left the store without making payment for the service.
SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 1-4-22 a 16-year-old male student of Columbia was charged with Simple Assault (M2), stemming from an incident at Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave, on 12-16-21.
HARASSMENT: On 1-4-22 a 15-year-old male student of Mount Joy was cited with Harassment (S), stemming from an incident 12-16-21 at Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 1-5-22 Joshua David McNamee (30) of Mount Joy was charged with 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and a summary traffic violation, stemming from a single-vehicle crash 11-18-21 in the 400 block of South Chiques Rd.
RETAIL THEFT: On 1-8-22 police responded to CVS, 2110 Spring Valley Rd, for a retail theft report. On 1-6-22 at 1431 hrs, video surveillance captured 3 females in the cosmetics aisle removing items from the shelves, hiding them in their clothes and then leaving the store without making payment. Total estimated value of loss is unknown at this time.
