POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 1/10/22 THRU 1/18/22

WARRANT SERVICE: On 1-11-22 at 1530 hrs, police responded to Magisterial District Justice Chudzik’s Office, 2168 Embassy Dr, for a warrant service.  Robert Decker Jr (53) of Manheim was present for a hearing and was found to have a warrant through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.  Decker was taken into custody and transported to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.

FALSE ALARM TO AGENCY OF PUBLIC SAFETY: On 1-11-22 Jatima Newman (24) of Lancaster was charged with False Alarm to Agency of Public Safety (M1), stemming from an incident 1-6-22 at the Warehouse Hotel, 2913 Spooky Nook Rd.  Newman called 9-1-1 stating her keys were locked in her vehicle.  She was advised to contact a locksmith or tow company for assistance.  Newman called 9-1-1 a second time stating her 11-month-old child was locked in the vehicle and then called Hempfield Fire Department stating the same.  Upon police and fire department arrival, it was discovered there was no child in the vehicle.  A warrant was issued for her arrest.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 1-12-22 police conducted a traffic stop at 2201 Columbia Ave.  The vehicle driver, Luis Maldonado Santana (39) of Lancaster, was found to have multiple warrants through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.  Maldonado Santana was taken into custody and transported to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.

THEFT: On 1-12-22 police responded to 5880 Wild Lilac Dr for a theft report.  Sometime between 1-11-22 at 1615 hrs and 1-12-22 at 0650 hrs, actor(s) broke into a construction trailer and removed multiple tools.  Total estimated value of loss $14,145.00.

CONCEALMENT OF WHEREABOUTS OF CHILD: On 1-13-22 Nikole Sanchez (36) of Lancaster was charged with Concealment of Whereabouts of Child (F3) and Hindering Apprehension (M2), stemming from an incident 12-29-21.  Sanchez was aware of the location of a missing juvenile and denied this information when questioned by police.

THEFT BY DECEPTION: On 1-14-22 Donavin Amer (18) of Windsor was charged with Theft by Deception (F3) and Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle (M2), stemming from an incident at Mercedes Benz of Lancaster, 5100 Main St, this date.  Amer took a Mercedes C-series vehicle for a test drive at 1430 hrs on 1-14-22 and never returned the vehicle.  The vehicle was tracked by its built in GPS and located in the 300 block of Deerfield Dr along with Amer.  Amer was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 1-14-22 Thomas Garbrick (75) of Elizabethtown was charged with 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and several summary traffic violations, stemming from an incident 1-12-22 at 2220 hrs.  Garbrick was driving west in the eastbound left lane of Route 283 in the area of State Rd.
