POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 10/6/22 THRU 10/12/22

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 10-6-22 police responded to Edible Arrangements, 103 Rohrerstown Rd, for a vandalism report.  Sometime between 10-2-22 and 10-6-22, actor(s) spray painted the dumpster behind the business.  Total estimated value of damage $100.00.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 10-6-22 Jayson Edward Shelley (38) of Manheim was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and two summary traffic violations, stemming from a traffic stop 10-2-22 at 2013 hrs on Rohrerstown Rd in the area of Lincoln Plaza. 

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 10-7-22 a 16-year-old male of Maytown was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M), Minor Operating Vehicle with Alcohol in his System (S), Criminal Mischief (S), Open Container of Alcohol in Vehicle (S) and Minor in Possession of Alcohol (S), stemming from an incident 9-25-22 at 0956 hrs in the 1100 block of Enterprise Rd.

THEFT OF VEHICLE PARTS: On 10-7-22 police received a theft report in the 100 block of Colonial Crest Dr.  Sometime between 9-16-22 and 10-7-22, actor(s) removed the catalytic converter from a vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $160.00.

THEFT: On 10-7-22 police received a theft report in the parking lot of BJ’s Wholesale Club, 110 Centerville Rd.  The victim was loading items into her trunk at approximately 1200 hrs and left her wallet in the shopping cart.  Within 5 minutes of realizing her wallet was missing, the wallet was unable to be located.  Total estimated value of loss $121.50.

RESISTING ARREST: On 10-7-22 police responded to That Fish Place, 237 Centerville Rd for a male trespassing.  Following investigation, Jared Howry (37) of Lititz was taken into custody and charged with Resisting Arrest (M2) and Defiant Trespass (M3).

THEFT OF VEHICLE PARTS: On 10-8-22 police responded to Women’s and Babies Hospital, 690 Good Dr, for a theft of vehicle parts report.  Sometime between 10-6-22 at 0700 hrs and 10-7-22 at 0030 hrs, a catalytic converter was taken from a vehicle in the parking lot.  Unknown amount of loss at this time.

THEFT: On 10-9-22 police responded to the 100 block of Penningdon Dr for a theft report.  Sometime between 10-6-22 and 10-9-22, actor(s) removed a gas can with 1-1 ½ gallons of gas as well as a fireplace poker and brush from an unsecured shed.  Total estimated value of loss $25.00.

RETAIL THEFT: On 10-10-22 a 16-year-old male of Landisville was cited with Retail Theft (S), stemming from an incident 9-21-22 at 2327 hrs at the Sheetz, 2149 State Rd.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 10-10-22 at 1518 hrs police made a traffic stop on Good Dr in the area of Lincoln Plaza.  Following investigation, the driver, Gerard Gaenzle (64) of Bausman, PA, was found to have a warrant through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.  Gaenzle was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

DEFIANT TRESPASS: On 10-10-22 Amin Ismael Mussa (23) of Lancaster was charged with Defiant Trespass (M3), stemming from an incident 10-3-22 at Sheetz, 3101 Columbia Ave.  Mussa was served a Trespass Letter on 9-27-22 by Sheetz banning him from 3101 Columbia Ave for panhandling.  Mussa returned to Sheetz on 10-3-22 at 0801 hrs and again at 1843 hrs this same date and was charged a second time on 10-10-22 with Defiant Trespass (M3).

THEFT: On 10-11-22 police responded to Amerimax Home Products, 450 Richardson Dr, for a theft report.  Sometime between 10-7-22 at 2300 hrs and 10-11-22 at 1000 hrs, actor(s) removed a roll of copper sheet coil weighing 718 lbs from the warehouse.  Total estimated value of loss $5,643.00.

STRANGULATION: On 10-11-22 at 2200 hrs, police responded to the 2100 block of Swarr Run Rd for a domestic in progress.  Following investigation, Domonic Sabastian Ortiz (23) of Lancaster was charged with Strangulation-Domestic Violence (F2), Simple Assault-Domestic Violence (M2) and Criminal Mischief (M3).  A warrant was issued for his arrest.  On 10-13-22 Ortiz turned himself in to East Hempfield Township Police Department, where he was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

RETAIL THEFT: On 10-11-22 Gregory Desolis (38) of Lancaster was cited with Retail Theft (S), stemming from an incident 9-23-22 at Sheetz, 2149 State Rd.  Desolis is alleged to have taken three 24-ounce beverage cans and leaving the store without making payment.
