Department Mission Statement
The mission of the Manheim Township Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in Manheim Township and Lancaster Township through partnerships with residents, schools, faith groups, community organizations, and other entities in a manner that promotes the preservation of life and property, assures the orderly movement of traffic, maintains peaceful public order, reduces fear, and provides for a safe and secure environment, while enforcing the law with respect for human dignity and treating all people fairly and in the manner that we would want ourselves to be treated.
