The East Lampeter Township Police Department covers 38 square miles that include the communities of East Lampeter and Upper Leacock Townships in Lancaster County, South Central, PA. The townships are comprised of residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural areas, serving over 25,000 residents. The Police Department includes Administrative, Patrol and Detective Divisions with specialized services including School Resource Officers, Special Emergency Response Team members, Crash Team Investigators, Forensics and more. 

REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYMENT 
U.S. Citizenship | Good moral character | 21 years of age 
High School Diploma or Equivalency | Possess a valid drivers license 
Able to complete PA State Act 120 training standards 

SALARY & BENEFITS:

COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS INCLUDE: 
2026 Annual Starting Salary Of $69,021 (Academy) $75,499 (Post Academy)
6 Year Top Officer Pay Of $112,528
Lateral Entry Up To (2) Years 
Paid Police Academy Attendance

12 Hour Shift Schedule With Every Other Weekend Off
