Officers have specialized training in the reconstruction of vehicle involved crashes.  They work both within our agency assisting fellow officers with complex crash investigations as well as participating with the Lancaster County Major Crash Investigation Team which is made up of officers from other police departments with similar training and experience.  Officers are trained in interviewing and evidence collection as well as the use of total stations and digital mappers, drones, digital photography, and downloading of event data recorders.
