2/10/2020

1.  At approximately 9:35 a.m., police were dispatched to Turkey Hill (284 E. Main St. Leola / Bareville) for found property.  On 2/9/2020, a customer located a maroon BB&T bank bag in the parking which contained jewelry.  Police are requesting assistance in locating the owner.  

2.  At 9:24 p.m., police were dispatched to the intersection of Glendale Dr. & Old Philadelphia Pk. For a driver who appeared to be passed out behind the wheel.  Upon arrival, officer’s were able to rouse the driver (Matthew Morris / 34 year old / white male / Litiz) who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.  When asked for his ID, Matthew Morris handed the officer a partially full bottle of wine.  Matthew Morris was placed under arrest for DUI and transported back to ELTPD where he submitted to a breath test with results showing his BAC was 0.197%.  Charges to be filed.
